GEO audit method.
Evidence to action.
A GEO audit should show what was found, where it came from, and what to do next. We keep website observations and AI answer evidence separate so you can act on what is actually known.
Start a website auditA website check alone does not measure AI answer visibility.
From a URL to a useful handoff.
Four stages, with the scope and missing evidence visible throughout.
- 01
Select the scope
Start with one exact URL. Add up to four pages on the same hostname only after confirming the selection.
- 02
Collect safely
Check DNS, the connection IP, robots rules and every redirect. Access restrictions and hard limits stop the request.
- 03
Qualify each result
Separate confirmed technical findings from review questions, unknowns and checks that did not run.
- 04
Make it actionable
Keep the URL, evidence location, suggested change, responsible role and a concrete recheck together.
Two kinds of evidence.
Different conclusions.
Website evidence
Selected pagesTechnical declarations and content passages from the responses actually obtained. The input URL, final URL, redirect chain and collection time stay visible.
- Technical checks
- 12 rule families covering access, directives, declarations and observed page signals.
- Content review
- 9 dimensions organize headings, passages, claim candidates, dates and relationships for human review.
Raw HTML is inspected. JavaScript rendering is not performed; a possible shell is not treated as a final empty page.
AI answer evidence
Optional importRecords you are allowed to process, imported by JSON, CSV or a single pasted record. No account password, API key or full chat history is requested.
- Separate observations
- Brand text mentions and locatable target-domain citations are distinct measures.
- Comparable samples
- Product, mode, model, region, language and question group remain separate. A sampling plan is required for AI sample ratios.
No automatic platform sampling or provider authentication. Missing citation evidence stays unknown.

Technical evidence / R01–R12
- HTTP, response completeness and redirects
- Robots policies and indexing directives
- Canonical declarations and JSON-LD
- Raw / rendered evidence status
- Title, headings and language signals
- Links within the selected scope
- Confirmed literal business facts
- Auxiliary files and selected claim sources
Content review / C01–C09
- Purpose, audience and customer questions
- Organization and expression
- Entities, facts and context
- Claims and source relationships
- Definitions, steps and table structure
- Decision and trust information
- Dates and maintenance signals
- Relationships among selected pages
Semantic and business judgments remain Needs review. A nearby link does not prove a claim, different prices do not prove a conflict, and an unobserved item does not establish a site-wide absence.
Certainty has a visible label.
We do not turn missing evidence into a pass, a failure or a platform score.
- Pass
- The observed evidence meets the defined technical condition.
- Fail
- An applicable, defined condition is contradicted by the evidence.
- Needs review
- Intent, context, meaning or business facts require confirmation.
- Unknown
- The evidence needed to determine this check was not obtained.
- Not applicable
- This rule does not apply to the selected page or scope.
- Not run
- The check was not executed or usable input was unavailable.
Technical pass rate
Pass ÷ (Pass + Fail)
Unique technical rule instances only. Repeated findings do not increase the count.
Determined coverage
(Pass + Fail) ÷ applicable planned instances
Review, unknown and unrun instances remain outside the determined numerator.
Content review has separate counts. A zero denominator is “Not obtained.” There is no combined GEO score or guarantee of indexing, AI citations, traffic or revenue.
